We invest in companies with enduring growth and profitability in the recurring services, media and communications industries. We have partnered with exceptional management teams in more than fifty small to mid-sized companies in these industries over the last thirteen years.

Business Characteristics

We invest in businesses with the following characteristics:

• Internal revenue growth
• Recurring Revenues
• High EBITDA margins
• Moderate capital intensity
• Strong management teams

Investment Size and Transaction Type

We prefer to make equity commitments of $5 to 20 million in buyout or recapitalization transactions. We have the flexibility, however, to make smaller investments in companies that have the potential for follow-on investment, or larger investments in combination with other investment partners. We also have a captive debt fund which adds to the flexibility we can provide in structuring a transaction.

Long Time Horizon

Our primary focus is to invest capital for long-term appreciation. Accordingly, we are patient long term investors who understand that it takes time to build significant companies of lasting value to employees, customers and shareholders. In every transaction we seek to forge career-long relationships with our portfolio company managers.
